Unlike existing USVs in Malaysia that primarily focus on bathymetry (e.g., Hidorkinetik’s sonar-based mapping), Aquasurv is specifically designed for water quality monitoring. It offers multi-location, real-time data on a single mission, while being safer, more cost-effective, and easier to deploy in remote areas.

Conventional water quality monitoring methods are labor-intensive, limited to fixed-point sampling, and often inefficient in covering wide or remote aquatic areas. This results in delayed decision-making, increased operational costs, and potential safety risks for personnel.

Aquasurv autonomously navigates along water bodies, collecting water quality data such as pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, and temperature. It transmits the data wirelessly for remote access, enabling real-time environmental monitoring without the need for constant human intervention.

Aquasurv is an autonomous unmanned surface vehicle (USV) that revolutionizes water quality monitoring by enabling continuous, real-time data collection across multiple points in rivers or lakes. Unlike traditional fixed-point, labor-intensive methods, Aquasurv navigates water bodies independently and wirelessly transmits key environmental data—such as pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, and temperature—for remote access. This innovation improves monitoring efficiency, reduces operational costs, enhances safety, and supports faster, data-driven environmental decision-making.
