Bioloop Sdn Bhd ("Bioloop") is primarily involved in the manufacturing of animal feed and fertiliser from black soldier fly larvae, including the cultivation and breeding of the larvae. Bioloop has developed a Sorting Machine, known as the Depacker Device or Depacker, which assists in sorting organic content from its packaging, whether plastic, cardboard, metal foils, etc. The Depacker has been successfully integrated into the production line of insect-based animal feed, where the organic content sorted from rejected or expired goods obtained from retail stores is used as an ingredient in the broad formulation for black soldier fly larvae cultivation, which is then bioconverted into fertiliser. The Depacker is particularly useful for sorting large volumes of waste from its packaging, making it an invaluable tool for Bioloop to help manage waste from large supermarkets and retail chain stores. It helps reduce reliance on labor and minimises the need for storage space for the retailers.
