Overview

The National Innovation and Commercialisation Expo (NICE) 2026 is Malaysia’s premier platform for accelerating the journey from innovation to market impact.

Guided by the theme “Mission to Market. Malaysia to the World.”, NICE 2026 brings together researchers, innovators, startups, industry leaders, investors, policymakers and technology adopters to strengthen pathways for commercialisation, technology adoption and global growth.

Organised by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and spearheaded by MRANTI, NICE connects ideas with opportunities, technology with investment, and innovation with markets. It reflects Malaysia’s commitment to transforming research and innovation into solutions that create economic value, strengthen industries and improve the well-being of society.

NICE builds on the legacy of the Malaysia Commercialisation Year (MCY), an initiative introduced by MOSTI in 2016 to accelerate the commercialisation of Malaysian innovations. Since then, MCY has supported the commercialisation of 761 innovations, generating more than RM1.13 billion in cumulative sales value.

Held from 26–28 August 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, NICE 2026 is expected to welcome more than 8,000 participants and visitors, feature over 180 innovation and technology showcases, and host more than 50 speakers, industry experts and thought leaders from Malaysia and abroad.
