The expansion of solar energy infrastructure is often constrained by land availability and high real estate costs, particularly in densely populated areas. Additionally, the efficiency of photovoltaic panels can be affected by high temperatures and limited airflow. There is a need for innovative solutions that overcome these challenges by utilising underused spaces and enhancing panel performance through improved cooling mechanisms.

The FSF-CWA & FSF-NSA systems address these issues by deploying solar panels on floating platforms over calm water bodies and nearshore areas. The water's cooling effect enhances panel efficiency, while the modular design facilitates easy installation and scalability. By utilising water surfaces, these systems preserve land for other uses and provide a sustainable method for increasing solar energy capacity.

The innovation of FSF-CWA & FSF-NSA lies in their modular, adjustable design that allows for customisation based on specific site conditions and panel requirements. The systems' compatibility with various solar modules and their ability to be easily assembled and maintained make them adaptable solutions for diverse environments. Their deployment on water bodies not only conserves land but also improves panel performance through natural cooling.
