Due to a 10% transmission loss assumption & an inrease of 40% in electricity demand, IRITS can assist in fulfilling the demands, while conserving biodiversity & promoting water as kinteic energy

Many remote and rural communities, such as the indigenous communities of Sungai Kejar, face significant challenges in accessing reliable electricity for daily use due to their distance from conventional power infrastructure. Existing off-grid solutions often rely on batteries or fuel-based generators, which can be costly, difficult to maintain, and environmentally unsustainable.

IRITS generates reneable energy (electricity) that provides a continous supply of energy without batteries as long as there is running water , 15 to 50 watts of electrical power

IRITS is a compact pico hydropower turbine that generates renewable electricity by converting the kinetic energy of water flowing through pipelines into electrical energy via an electromagnetic generator. It can produce around 15–50 watts of continuous power without batteries, providing a sustainable energy solution for remote areas while supporting increasing electricity demand and promoting environmentally friendly energy use.
