Mechanical Pesticide

The product offers a safer and more sustainable alternative to conventional chemical pesticides such as Cyper, as it does not induce pest resistance while reducing health risks to farmers. It is locally developed through dedicated research and development, ensuring higher quality, reliability, and traceable sourcing compared to unverified bulk products. Additionally, it is certified safe by recognised institutions, including Melaka Biotech Corporation and the Faculty of Food Safety and Nutrition at Universiti Malaysia Sabah, further reinforcing its credibility and safety.
The effectiveness of the tribological film in environmental conditions has been tested and found to be comparable to that of standard commercial chemical products. It is effective against a wide range of pests, including aphids, mites, larvae, and bugs. One of the key advantages of this product is that it can be applied continuously without concerns regarding resistance development. In addition, as the formulation uses food-grade ingredients, the resulting agricultural produce remains free from harmful chemicals and is safe for consumption, as verified through testing.
This product was engineered using combination of edible oils saponified with potassium and protein-on-microbes (PoM). This is done to ensure its effectiveness, storage shelf life and its nutritional content. Protein-on-microbes is a biotics which ensure the tribofilm is strong but at the same time is fine enough to penetrate multilayer of pest natural protection especially the hair surrounding its body. This tiny hair on pest body hinders a perfect cocoon to develop and this protein-on-microbes reduces its surface tension and leads to the tribofilm to form. Once the cocoon is developed, the pest will last less than a minute to perish. This magical potion is not magical at all. It is the knowledge behind its creation that enables this non-toxic substance to exist.
The project introduces a novel mechanical pesticide based on tribology, forming a protective tribofilm on plant surfaces that physically eliminates pests through a cocooning effect rather than chemical toxicity. Unlike conventional systemic pesticides, it prevents resistance build-up, allowing repeated use without reduced effectiveness. Developed using food-grade, bio-based components enhanced with protein-on-microbes, the solution ensures strong adhesion, effective pest control across multiple species, and safe, chemical-free produce.
