Sago Bio-Graphite offers a reduced environmental footprint, uses sustainable and readily available biomass feedstock, and supports emerging energy technologies such as batteries and conductive components.

Traditional graphite production relies heavily on mining and non-renewable resources, leading to environmental degradation, resource depletion, and supply limitations for growing industrial and energy storage demands.

The technology transforms renewable sago biomass into high-value carbon materials through specialised processing methods, providing a sustainable alternative to conventional graphite production.

The project introduces a renewable pathway for producing conductive carbon materials by utilising agricultural biomass as a feedstock, enabling more sustainable production of graphite-like materials for industrial and energy applications.
