Zero-Gap, Membrane-Less Electrolyser For Water Splitting In Hydrogen/Oxygen Production And Methods Thereof

Zephyron’s competitive advantage lies in its patented hydrogen-based cleaning technology that eliminates carbon deposits without engine dismantling or harmful chemicals. Compared with conventional carbon cleaning methods, the system is significantly faster, safer, and more environmentally sustainable. Its integration of hydrogen generation technology, engineering innovation, and ESG-driven design provides a unique clean-technology solution that aligns with global trends toward lower emissions and greener automotive maintenance.
Carbon build-up in internal combustion engines reduces performance, increases fuel consumption, and raises harmful emissions. Existing decarbonisation methods are often labour-intensive, time-consuming, and rely on chemical cleaners that can damage engine components and the environment. Zephyron Sdn Bhd addresses this issue with a cleaner, more efficient solution that removes carbon deposits while improving engine performance and supporting environmental sustainability.
Zephyron’s ZMAE-1 is a hydrogen-based engine carbon cleaning system developed from research at Universiti Malaya. It uses a patented membraneless electrolyser to produce hydrogen, which is fed into the engine intake to help remove carbon deposits during combustion. The process takes around 30 minutes, restores engine efficiency, and does not require dismantling or chemical cleaners.
The innovation of the project lies in Zephyron’s ZMAE-1 hydrogen-based engine carbon cleaning system, which uses a patented membraneless electrolyser to generate hydrogen for in-engine decarbonisation. By introducing hydrogen into the combustion process, it effectively removes carbon deposits without the need for dismantling or chemical cleaners. This enables a faster, cleaner, and more efficient alternative to conventional decarbonisation methods, improving engine performance while reducing environmental impact.
