The current oil palm mechanisation process is monitored through manual written records, verbal information and trust in the operator. The information can be manipulated and missing, leading to ineffective machine operation and loss of time. Thus, a machinery’s operational recording system and information process could enhance monitoring and reporting. It could also benefit in term of repair and maintenance schedule, spare parts order and stock, reduce unscheduled breakdown and many other fringe benefits.

Current situation:- Machine operator is carrying out machine’s pre-operational, during operation and post-operational standard by a manual method.
