In Malaysia, a study involving 301 medical students from 17 universities found that 87.36% believed AI would play an essential role in healthcare, yet only 44.5% felt they would have sufficient knowledge to work with AI upon graduation. Notably, 69.44% believed that AI education should be incorporated into medical training, highlighting the growing need to prepare future healthcare professionals with the knowledge and competencies required to navigate an increasingly AI-enabled healthcare environment.
